I feel blessed to share the journey of ASSIST towards integrated social transformation along with our stakeholders. It has been a year marked with responses to the challenges that propelled us to engage in activities that built the resilience of children, youth and women.
Our focus has been in equipping our target groups with education, skills and opportunities to build their capacities to live a dignified life. Our programs have been focused on ensuring improvement in academic performance, safeguarding rights through human rights education, gender education, institutionalization of Child Protection Policy, Neighborhood Parliament and health initiatives in order to ensure happy childhood. Youth were provided with leadership training, Social and Political knowledge for responsible nation building, skill trainings and programs to enhance employability along with courses to orient them towards career building. Entrepreneurship and financial sustainability were encouraged among women to fight against gender inequality. An Eco-friendly lifestyle was promoted in our every effort to ensure a safe future. Humanitarian activities to reach out to the affected people of Cyclone Gaja was the highlight of the year.

I extend a note of appreciation and gratitude to the ASSIST team who had spared no effort in making life a little better for our target groups in all our centers. Sustainable Development Goals has been the bull's eye of every the intervention of ASSIST as a synergy source motivated to attain integrated social transformation.
