ASSIST facilitates a wholesome growth in the children who benefit through the catalyst for change kids program consisting of the 70 free Evening Study Centers for improved academic performance and dropout prevention through organized strategies which has enhanced their learning abilities and regularize their attendance, 32 Neighbourhood Children Parliament to promote education and exercise of human rights as means for building responsible leadership and citizenship and 03 oratories as a place to enjoy happy childhood, Nutrition program has ensured a gradual improvement in the health of the children and the family bonding through mothers committee. Capacity Building trainings to enable the staff. Celebrations were the vibrant spaces to cull out the dormant potential of our children. Celebration of the Independence day, Girl Child day, Diwali, Christmas, Pangal, Environment day and especially, the competitions held in the month of November to mark the Children's day celebration and that of the human rights proved to be effective means for learning and expressing themselves creatively The efforts to involve the communities in forming the safeguarding nets were commendable while institutionalizing the Child Protection Policy. The parents and the members from local villages in 5 Districts succeeded to from Child Protection committees. Which function at the best interest of the children and to ensure zero tolerance against child right violation.

The platform is created for students to practice leadership skills through School Children Parliaments.
Present-day social challenges like social injustices, inequalities, poverty, corruption, terrorism, unemployment, lack of basic humanness, disease, casteism, communalism, and atrocities against women, children and socially and economically weak and so on are the direct result of lack of basic human relationship among people and people’s (at individual level) active participation in governance.
